A Word For The Weary

Your burden is heavy, your path unending
You grow weary, but the world is uncaring.
You catch an eye, though an eye of scorn
You try to scream, but your lungs are torn.
Your faith decays as your vision fades
You've lost all hope you once had made.

Yet take heart, this won't last forever
Things usually hurt before they get better.
Though there are moments you might feel down,
Your eyes need never follow to face the ground.
Your burden is heavy, your path unending,
But draw away from such despair
And what you find is a life worth living.
